April 2025 Prayer Letter
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Greetings from Northern Mexico! We are rejoicing in all that God has done this month. As always, we want to say thank you for your faithful prayers and support. Your partnership continues to make an eternal impact!
Exciting Growth at Mount Hebron Baptist Church
April has been a month of tremendous spiritual blessings. We are thrilled to share that we have added nine new adult members to Mount Hebron Baptist Church this month! These are individuals who have recently been saved, baptized, and faithfully completed our "New Members" class. It is a joy to see people growing, getting rooted in the faith, and stepping forward to identify with their local church.
Five Day Bible Clubs Outreach
Another highlight of the month was our Five Day Bible Clubs outreach! God allowed us to hold Bible Clubs in 11 different locations throughout our community. Ninety-two of our church members and Bible Institute students participated. Altogether, over 1,000 children and adults attended these clubs, and we are rejoicing that 824 individuals received Christ as their personal Savior! Praise the Lord for such a great harvest of souls!
The following Sunday, April 20th, was a very special day at our church. Many of the people we reached during the Bible Clubs came to our services. In the main auditorium service alone, we had 45 adult visitors, and 26 walked the aisle making a public profession of faith in Christ. That day, 9 were baptized, and in junior church, 15 children trusted Christ as Savior. It was a day full of celebration, and all the glory belongs to the Lord.
Building Progress
We continue to see progress on our church building project as well. Over the past year, our church family has generously given more than $340,000 pesos ($17,000 Dollars) toward finishing the exterior of our auditorium. Considering the local economy, this is a major accomplishment and a real testimony to the faith and vision of our people.
We still have a few more phases to complete, but we are getting close! It's been a blessing to watch God provide through the faithfulness of His people here.
Looking Ahead — Major Projects in the Works
As God continues to bless and grow our ministry, we are moving forward with several major projects over the next few years. These improvements are crucial to meeting the needs of our growing congregation and Bible Institute.
Here are some of the key projects we are preparing to complete:
Finish the exterior of the main auditorium, including final masonry work, facade detailing, and permanent exterior doors.
Complete and connect the new electrical substation (transformer) to the property to meet our long-term power needs.
Run all new underground electrical wiring for the auditorium, Sunday School building, and future construction areas.
Renovate and update the existing electrical installation in the auditorium and Sunday School building to meet current codes and expand capacity.
Develop the overall property, including grading, sidewalks, gravel parking areas, landscaping, lighting, and creating a second entrance to improve access.
Construct 10,000+ square feet of new building space, including additional Sunday School classrooms, nursery and toddler rooms, bathrooms, administrative offices, and a spacious lobby.
We realize that building and expansion go far beyond stacking cinder blocks — these projects require skilled tradesmen and professionals with expertise in construction, electrical work, plumbing, site development, surveying, and project planning.
If you have experience in these fields and would be willing to come and help us — even short term — we would love to hear from you! God is doing something special here, and it would be a great blessing to have skilled laborers join in the work.
Thank You
Thank you again for being such an important part of what God is doing here in Mexico. Your prayers, support, and love are bearing fruit every single week. We know that none of this would be possible without the faithful laborers behind the scenes, and we thank God for you.
Please continue to pray for us as we move forward with the work. We are praying for you as well and are excited about what God has in store for the rest of 2025!
